The appointment with great cinema continues in the programming of the Circolo del Cinema of Lucca, also for this week at the Cinema Astra, rather than at the Cinema Centrale given the closure of the latter for renovation. In fact, on Thursday 23 May, exceptionally at 9.30 pm it will be screened at the Cinema Astra AND LIFE GOES ON! Robert Guediguan’s new film still navigates social cinema. An exciting story in which various elements come together: the sense of belonging, immersion in a reality where passion and politics almost always end up intersecting, the Marseille coast caressed by the sun, its close group of actors (almost all friends) , a tribe of now familiar faces who return film after film starting with Ariane Ascaride. In the film the tragedy is only evoked by a caption. The events that are told are a snapshot of the contemporary: a community that rallies around the tragedy demonstrating solidarity and a deep sense of belonging.
