The presentation event of the post-diploma training courses of Its Umbria Academy, the Umbrian academy in applied sciences and technologies aimed at young graduates, is scheduled for Thursday 23 May at Barton Park in Perugia. The information stands will be open from 9am to 7pm. Here, Its staff, sector experts and teachers will be available to provide guidance on choosing the course best suited to your aptitudes. While the presentation event is scheduled for 5pm during which the contents of the courses of: Mechatronics and Industry 4.0, Information & Communication Technology, Cybersecurity, Biotechnology and Environmental Sustainability, Sustainable and Smart Agriculture will be illustrated by teachers and students farming, Marketing and business economics, Promotion of the territory and Management of tourism businesses, Construction and Energy efficiency and the very recent Mechatronics and paper converting.
Its Umbria is a two-year polytechnic academy in technologies and applied sciences in which learning in the classroom and in the laboratory alternates with internships in the company. It is established by the Ministry of Education and Merit and the Umbria Region and is participated by the main players in the world of work and education. It is free and lasts two years, it represents an excellent opportunity for young graduates and all those who intend to perfect their studies to acquire high technological skills for an easy and qualified entry into the world of work. Its Umbria Academy courses are delivered locally on the campuses of Perugia, Foligno, Terni and Città di Castello. The characteristics of didactic and curricular flexibility, the strong dynamism, the technological and digital footprint, the active participation of businesses and the certified levels of employment achieved make ITS one of the most effective and high-performance education channels in the country.
At the end of the training courses, a State Tertiary Education Diploma equal to level V of the European Qualifications Framework – EQF is issued by the Ministry of Education.
Since its foundation in 2011, to date Its Umbria Academy has grown in the number of students (around 450 new students enrolled per year), training courses (15) and companies involved (400) who actively collaborate by participating in the planning of the courses , teaching and hosting internships.
Since last year, scholarships have been introduced for students admitted to the courses for a maximum value of six thousand euros each.
