Palermo, steals an electrical panel from the Massimo theatre: arrested

PALERMO – The police arrested S G., 36 years old, accused of the crime of improper robbery. The man was blocked by security personnel from the Teatro Massimo and by policemen from the general prevention and public rescue office, as he tried to climb over the fence with a large panel from an industrial electrical panel stolen from inside the monumental complex.

Once discovered, he began attacking the security guards. As soon as the police officers arrived he was stopped and identified. SG had already removed and placed outside 6 straps with buckles for securing loads, taken from platforms of the scenography while the electrical panel was used for the supply of electricity in the goods storage area.

Beyond the fence, on the sidewalk facing the rear part of the Teatro Massimo, A large trolley was found, which would have been used by the man to more easily transport the stolen goods. All the material was returned to the foundation.
