Province of Asti, Patriarchi Project: new centenary in Grazzano Badoglio

Luisa Cotella she was born on 9 May 1924 in Genoa.

During the war his father took the whole family “to safety” from the English bombings Calliano.

It was in the beautiful Monferrato town that Luisa met Francesco, whom she married in 1950, overcoming the doubts of both families about a country life that Luisa was not used to.

But fate has it that Francesco finds work in Genoa; they move and the family expands with the birth of Daniela and then of Rosaria, former mayor and now vice mayor of the Municipality of Grazzano Badoglio.

Their marriage lasted over 70 years, always faced with a smile and serenity.

She is in excellent health, still lives alone and loves to read very much. Her family is very long-lived, having two sisters aged 95 and 96 who attended the party which took place at the “Il bagatto” restaurant in Grazzano Badoglio.

To celebrate this important milestone, in addition to the family, the Councilor Davide Migliasso attended for the Province of Asti and, on behalf of the President Maurizio Rasero, presented her with the certificate of “Patriarch of the Asti area” together with some of the organisation’s publications. and his daughter Rosaria Lunghi, vice mayor of the Municipality of Grazzano Badoglio.
