What is Confidi Central North

The Confidi Centro Nord, born from the merger between Confidi Valle d’Aosta and Confidi Centro, brings together over 4,000 companies located mainly in Tuscany, Umbria and Valle d’Aosta and, while maintaining strong roots in the territories of origin, is today able to ensure operations at a national level in support of SMEs by promoting access to bank and para-banking credit through the issuing of eligible guarantees on first request to banks and affiliated institutions, issuing direct guarantees for supplies, participation in tenders and contracts, commercial leases, advances on public contributions and directly disbursing medium-term unsecured loans.

Carboni received the appointment from the board of directors elected in recent days by the shareholders’ meeting and will hold the position for the three-year period 2024-2026. “An experienced entrepreneur, with a profound knowledge of the association system and great expertise in the field of credit – says Fabrizio Bernini, president of Confindustria Toscana Sud – Carboni has always been present in our association, where over the years he has held various positions , always demonstrating commitment, competence and great professionalism. Pietro Carboni’s comment

Carboni, who was a member of the presidential committee and the general council of the Arezzo Industrial Association, is currently a councilor of the Arezzo delegation of Confindustria Toscana Sud as well as a councilor of Assoservizi srl. “I am honored by this prestigious role and I thank the Directors for the trust they have placed in me – says Carboni – our balance sheet closed with over 53 million euros in assets and an operating profit of 670 thousand euros. Few data to certify these aspects: relating to the year 2023 the TCR (Total Capital Ratio – capitalization index) of the Central-North Confidi was 46.31% (the average of Italian banks is equal to 19.9% according to KPMG source ), the volume of financial activities amounts to 170 million, firmly placing Confidi Centro Nord among the financial intermediaries registered in the Register pursuant to art. 106 TUB with a stock of guarantees of 113 million and direct loans disbursed to companies which, in just seven months of offering, amounted to over 2 million euros”.
