ALESSANDRIA – In recent days the Amag Group has received some reports from citizens relating to three people (two men and a woman), dressed in elegant clothes, who showed up at some homes as “Amag Inspectors”, in the Valle area San Bartolomeo, a hamlet of Alessandria.
Please note that the companies of the Amag Group (Amag Ambiente, Amag Reti Gas and Amag Reti Idriche) do not carry out commercial activities. “The invitation is to be wary of such individuals because they could turn out to be scammers. – explain from the Amag Group – The operators of Amag Reti Idriche only carry out water meter readings and present themselves with a company car, uniform, identification card and cannot request money or stipulate contracts”.
The other advice given by the Amag Group to avoid scams is to always ask the operator to identify himself with an identification card and to never hand over sums of money to the employees who show up at your home since no operator can receive money or door-to-door payments brings.
