Portici, fight between students at the stadium: the complaint

Chaos and unrest at the San Ciro stadium in Portici, where yesterday the final of a football tournament played by students from various schools in the area was played, with the aim of raising funds for charity.

However, despite the premises, a real fight broke out in the stands between the various students in the presence of parents and teachers. Some witnesses denounced the incident by sending a video to the deputy of the Greens-Left alliance Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who commented as follows:

“Yet another unworthy spectacle that has nothing to do with sport. We definitely have to point the finger at the kids who started the violence in the stands, of course. But if these young people see sport only as a moment to vent their frustrations, to fuel unhealthy competition, an opportunity for heated rivalry, then evidently they have made a big mistake in their education. The fault must therefore be sought in us adults, in the teachers, in the families, in the institutions. Young minds are filled with negative values also through those behaviors adopted by adults who sow the seeds of violence, malice and disrespect for others in the heads of young people. It’s time to totally review the type of education that is being provided to the new generations starting from schools.”
