Treviso, “Puccini’s women and more…”: Charity gala at the Mario del Monaco Theatre

TREVISO. Music and charity: tomorrow evening the appointment of the Trevigiana Opera Association in support of the social enterprise “I Bambini delle Fate” which takes care of people with Asperger’s syndrome.

“The women Of Puccini and not only…” is the title of the Charity Gala which will be held tomorrow, 22 May at 8.15 pm, at the Mario del Monaco theater in Treviso. Arias by Puccini, Verdi, Bellini and Donizetti are on the program.

To the great artists of today’s international opera will perform, with the Venice Chamber Orchestra directed by Maestro Enrico Lombardi and the participation of the Choir of the Municipal Theater of Piacenza, to honor the Social Enterprise “I bambini delle Fate”.

The evening at the Comunale will be dedicated to Anna Maria Bicciato, famous opera singer and singing teacher and last student of the soprano Toti dal Monte designated as his “heir” of the Bellini repertoire.

The soprano Erika Grimaldithe mezzo-sopranos Laura Verrecchia And Diletta Scandiuzzithe baritone Vittorio Prato and the bass Roberto Scandiuzziamong the most acclaimed opera artists of the moment, will be protagonists of the Opera galato the “Mario del Monaco” Municipal Theater of Treviso as a tribute to Social Enterprise “The Fairy Children” which deals with financing initiatives, projects and social inclusion paths for the benefit of families struggling with autism and other disabilities, telling “with a smiling face” the potential of children and young people and the great strength of their families.

The promoter of this cultural initiative is theTreviso Opera Association – supporter of “i Bambini delle Fate” – already known in the Treviso area for having held several opera concerts at the Teatro Comunale of Treviso in recent years.

The program also includes pages by Vincenzo Bellini, Gaetano Donizetti, Giuseppe Verdi, George Bizet. They present the evening Fabio Larovere And Melania Petriello.
