Born in 1980, 190 centimeters tall and a truly important wealth of technique, experience and charisma. Raised in the River Plate youth academy in Buenos Aires, Garnica completed his youth career in Italy, among the ranks of Volley Brolo. After a first taste of Serie A1 in 2003/2004 in Gioia del Colle, he continued his maturation with three consecutive seasons of B1, the last of which, in Avellino, earned him a return ticket to Serie A. In 2007/2004 In 2008 he played in A2 with the Irpinia team, then moved to Ravenna in B1, where he repeated the “formula”: promotion and the following season in A2.
In 2010 the first passage of his career in Reggio Emilia, the following year he was in Santa Croce (always in A2), then a two-year period in the top Swiss championship, in Lugano (2012-2014), before returning to our local B1 ( Segrate and Corigliano). In 2016-2017 he went to Castellana Grotte in A2 and led the Apulians to promotion to the Super League, playing it as a protagonist the following year. Since 2018 he has supported Bergamo’s cause in A2 by winning an Italian Cup, in 2020 he returns to Castellana, in 2021 he takes another dive into the past, this time in Reggio Emilia, where he writes the history of Volley Tricolore with the extraordinary cup-promotion double.
