If there will be any free seats in Serie C, Lfa Reggio Calabria is very far from the possibility of obtaining a repechage. While waiting for the criteria to be defined (which are not yet known), if those of last season were to be maintained the Amaranths would be in second place in the second ranking (that of the losers of the playoffs of the Serie D teams).
And it’s not the only hierarchical scale to take into account. The calls, if it were to work last season, are three: first it would be the turn of a B team of a Serie A club, then to a D and then to one relegated from Serie C.
In the second calls, the winners of the playoffs must be exhausted first, then it would be the losers’ turn. However, it is not certain that for each category there is a company willing to pay the non-repayable fund (last year 300,000 euros) and has the structures and economic solidity to register in D.
While waiting to understand with what parameters the repechage will take place, it would still be wrong not to say that as of today it is probable that Lfa Reggio Calabria will have to prepare for another Serie D championship.
