They were discovered in Valenza and the surrounding area fourteen domestic workers total evaders for almost 600 thousand euros: despite being in compliance with the collaboration contracts, they had not submitted tax returns for the period between 2017 and 2022. They were discovered by the financiers of the Valenza Company, who carried out a series of checks in agreement with the INPS, a body with which the Finance Department has signed a memorandum of understanding at national level.
«With regards to domestic workers found to be total tax evaders, it was found that they failed to declare income received amounting in total to over 580 thousand euros – they explain from the Guardia di Finanza of the city of gold -. The income profile of the interested parties was reconstructed through the cross-referencing of the data acquired from the consultation of the databases used by the force with the documentation (domestic work contracts, unique certifications, pay slips) acquired during the inspection activities”.
Once the checks were completed, the Valencian financiers reported to the Revenue Agency the 14 total tax evaders (of Italian and foreign origin) «for failure to submit tax returns and, in some cases, also for unfaithful declaration».
