LUCCA – Convincing performance by the jumper from Filecchio, we remember coming from the Barga walking group, who won yesterday, Sunday 19th, in the high jump competition at the prestigious Lucca event with international track and field athletics. In a very important context, that of the third edition of the “Meeting city of Lucca” organized with the now usual mastery of athletics virtus, Idea jumped 1.85 meters very well, coming close to the seasonal record of 1.88, still achieving the record of meeting. On the same occasion, among other things, the shot put competition was extraordinary which saw the world vice champion and 2024 leader Leonardo Fabbri throw over 22.50 showing a condition that bodes well for the next European championships in Rome and for the Olympic games .
