Thefts in shops in the shopping centers of Fano and Pesaro, mother and daughter from Abruzzo arrested

FANO – Thefts in shopping center shops, arrested mother and daughter. On Saturday, State Police personnel on duty in the Fano police station carried out a targeted control activity in the area aimed at preventing thefts in commercial establishments in Fano, called SAFE SHOP, through the monitoring and analysis of the video surveillance system citizen, in collaboration with the Local Police of Fano. The officers concentrated their checks especially during the closing time of commercial activities, highlighting the presence of a suspicious vehicle during the closing time. The car was followed by the police up to the Bellocchi commercial area and then stopped, out of the way, near a centre. Two women entered the shop and then left shortly afterwards. Stopped by the officers, they were found in possession of several recently stolen items of clothing. Furthermore, inside the car the police found numerous other items of clothing which had previously been removed by the two women from another business in Pesaro. The total value of the goods stolen from the two shops amounts to more than a thousand euros.

The arrests validated

The two women, mother and daughter, from Abruzzo, known to the Police Force for having committed numerous crimes against property and for having struck in many shopping centers on the Marche coast, were arrested for aggravated theft. This morning the arrest orders were validated by the Judicial Authority.
