The pilot market never stops
Among the big names in MotoGP, the riders in possession of a contract also for 2025 at the moment they are only Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), Pedro Acosta (KTM) and Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha). Everyone else is looking around, with the aim of finding the best saddle for next season. Jorge Martin, Marc Marquez and Enea Bastianini are the three candidates for the most coveted position, that of the official Ducati.
But between the two Spaniards, unless Marquez accepts the official bike option in a satellite team (perhaps in Pramac), one could be forced to change scenery. In this sense the most concrete hypothesis seems to be that of KTM, although Pit Beirer has silenced the rumors Motorsport-Magazin explaining that he believes both pilots “with few reasons to decide to change bikes“.
Beirer then pitched a sort of ultimatum for Miller and Augusto Fernandez: “The performances of Jack and Augusto are simply unsatisfactory for a place in MotoGP“. And therefore in the official KTM there will most likely be Binder and Acosta: “They are two fantastic riders in whom we believe a lot. Pedro is a real diamond in the rough, while Brad is damn strong.”
The other movements: Miller, Marini and Mir
So what will Jack Miller do? According to rumors gathered by Sky Italia, for the Australian there is the Honda HRC idea. In fact, in the official Japanese team it is no mystery how Joan Mir is looking around after a nightmare two years and theAprilia Trackhouse, led by his mentor at Suzuki Davide Brivio, could be the natural landing place. But also pay attention to Luca Marinistruggling with disastrous performances in this first part of 2024 (never in the points in the first 5 GPs): Motosprint in fact he also connected Italian toAprilia Trackhouseresulting in early termination of the contract due to mutual dissatisfaction.
