The 17th Sannio regional dog show was held over the weekend, an event that attracted a large number of enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts, and of a very high professional profile. All of this in a unique and special setting to say the least: the “Eugenio Frate” Carabinieri School of Campobasso hosts the dog show. Satisfaction was expressed by Nicola Roberti, president of the “Luigi Nerilli” dog group, “the brilliant outcome of this 17th edition – Roberti reported on the sidelines – highlights the organisation, passion and dedication of our Association, and I take advantage to thank all those who, once again, contributed to the work. In this regard, we feel honored and enthusiastic for having created a special union, perhaps one of a kind: with the approval of the Commander of the Carabinieri Student School of Campobasso, Colonel Bruno Capece, the doors of the prestigious “Eugenio” Barracks were opened Frate” at the dog show and not only at it. It is not up to me, I may not be competent, to retrace the decorated and appreciated career of Colonel Capece, with his high contribution to the values of justice and legality for our Nation, but a trait of his human profile, which goes beyond the rigorous military doctrine , I would like to highlight it, also because it motivates the success of the event itself. A subjective trait of Colonel Capece, which inevitably and positively influences him in his high and complex choices, his firm belief in young people, as a direct expression of change and, more generally, in the collaboration of the Army with civil society. I don’t think his direction in the training of the young soldiers of his Student School is a mere coincidence along his exemplary career path, the same thing can be said for the continuous relationship he maintains with the school groups. More than opening the doors to the dog show, La Merita welcomed a community. I would like to close with this reflection. The elements of a community, including institutions, combine and change into compounds: it is the nature of things, it is chemistry which is not the study of substances, but of change, it is its analysis and its action.
