One of the key events of the programming conceived and organized by Unpli Puglia aps returns: “Hidden treasures of Puglia”.
It will take place over the weekend of May 25th and 26th in fourteen well-defined locations illustrated in the official program and which will involve the Pro Loco associations of the participating communities.
“Every year the initiative has always tried to renew itself and achieve new goals and objectives. This project aims to discover and enhance the cultural heritage of our region, one for each of the fourteen territorial areas, which are presented and revealed by qualified guides – writes Rocco Lauciello, president of Unpli Puglia aps –. Everything was born with the intention of promoting and highlighting the Apulian territory through a ‘cultural renaissance’, implemented with the creation of immersive itineraries and experiences, which lead to the valorisation of both small villages and inland cities, allowing the long-term tourist stay, but also with the discovery of lesser-known but undoubtedly fascinating sites and assets of artistic, cultural and landscape interest. Puglia – concludes Lauciello – boasts a wide range of potential tourist attractions, mostly unknown even to the residents of the places themselves. It has become a spearhead in the program of Apulian tourism initiatives”.
The initiative takes advantage of the Tourism and Hotel Industry Department of the Puglia Region and the Pro Loco Italia Foundation.
The complete and detailed program will be officially presented on Wednesday 22 May at 10.30 am in the Council Room of the Bari Chamber of Commerce headquarters, located in Corso Cavour 2.
