A beautiful day of sport and fun, which took place in PalaMalfatti, in the triangular event organized by Special Olympics Italia and coordinated by New Real Rietinclude. Lots of healthy competitive spirit put on the field by the three participating teams: Tevere Remo, Olmoponte Arezzo and the athletes of New Real Rietinclude.
The result mattered little, but the participants still gave it their all for the pleasure of those present in the stands. The amarantocelesti demonstrated that they are in great form, showing off their value with two good matches. Present at the initiative were Fabio Mancini representing our sponsor Planetwin365.News, whom we thank for constantly being at our side, Morena De Marco, provincial director of Special Olympics Italia Team Rieti and the coach of Rietinclude, Stefano Mariantoni, who symbolically exchanged the sweaters.
An extraordinary occasion in which sport, inclusion and the determination of Special Olympics athletes were celebrated, demonstrating once again how sport can be a powerful vehicle for integration and growth. All this was also possible thanks to the help of the uisp which made the referee Angelo Patacchiola available and the availability of Dr. Francesco Balloni who provided his medical service voluntarily and free of charge.
