Parma, 20 May 2024 – 3rd and last day of the 2nd Interregional Phase of the Championship Under 14 PRO, on the synthetic field “Quirino Zanichelli” of the Stuart sports complex “Ferruccio Bellè” in San Pancrazio (PR), Sunday 19 May 2024, Parma, regional champion in the 1st Phase, is beaten by Hellas Verona 1-5. The Scaligeri, winners of Group C, (equal points with Fiorentina, 7, but better goal difference) enter the Final Four. Mister Andrea Zandonai’s team finishes third (3) ahead of bottom Sassuolo (0).
There is no story for the ducals who find the winning goal only at the end of the second half (35′ st) with Ilyas Fatih (1-5), but before that they concede five from the guests, already ahead in the 3rd minute with Benedict Saka (0-1), the second in the 9th minute goes to Nicola Cappellato (0-2), in the 24th minute Lorenzo Bernamonte scores a trio. The first half ends at 0-3. Deadly 1-2 for the opponents who in two minutes between the 18th minute (Nicola Cappellato again scoring a brace) and the newly introduced Alessandro Maran in the 20th minute took the lead to 0-5, before the last gasp of pride from Ilyas Fatih for the definitive 1-5 with which the season of the Under 14 Crociati ended, memorable as regards the literally dominated regular season, decidedly less so in this second inter-regional phase.
