ideas for the next administration

Cultural policies increasingly qualify the action of a local administration. They are a lever for personal training, but also for the overall growth of the city. Also in economic terms (e.g. tourist flows). “Bergamo-Brescia capital of culture” was a paradigmatic example.

How has the current municipal administration moved in this field? And how will the next one work?

To discuss this crucial topic for social and economic development, a meeting open to the public entitled “Culture as an engine of growth: Ideas for the next administration of Bergamo” will be held.

The appointment is set for Monday 20 May at 6pm in the Meeting Room of the Hotel Palazzo Santo Spirito, in Via Torquato Tasso 82, Bergamo.

Historic representatives of the cultural and political panorama of Bergamo will speak.
Nadia Ghisalberti – Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Bergamo;
George Bertha – President of the Donizetti Theater Foundation and of the Polytechnic of the Arts;
Andrew Moltrasio – President of Bergamo Scienza;
Elena Carnivals – Candidate for Mayor for Bergamo;
Paola Rossi – Leader of the BERGAMO EUROPA list

The meeting will be coordinated Marco Berlandacandidate on the BERGAMO EUROPEAN list for the Municipality of Bergamo.

The meeting intends to offer useful ideas and reflections to the next municipal administration to promote and support the crucial role of culture in the growth and development of the city of Bergamo.
