It will be held on next May 22nd in Potenza, at 5.00 pm at the headquarters of the Volunteer House in Via Sicilia 10a conference dedicated to the analysis of data and the causes of depopulation of the municipalities of Basilicata.
Event organized by CSV Basilicata, in collaboration with the Fondazione con il Sud, which will be attended by experts on the phenomenon and representatives of the associations involved deal with young people for a discussion on the contribution that the third sector can make to stem the flight of young people from our communities.
The initiative will be attended by President of the Foundation with the South, Stefano Consiglio which will provide the Foundation’s point of view and commitment on this issue.
He declared the President of CSV Basilicata Antonio Bronzino:
“The 2023 ISTAT report certifies the demographic decline of Basilicata: the region with the lowest fertility and the increase in the average age of women who give birth, furthermore Basilicata has the highest internal migration rate in Italy.
Together with the Foundation with the South we will try to understand how the Third Sector can help reverse this demographic trend helping, as far as possible, the political institutions to find shared solutions”.
