Sandro Di Addezio confirmed president of UNPLI Abruzzo

Sandro Di Addezio he was unanimously confirmed at the helm of UNPLI Abruzzo, the reference representation network of the Abruzzo Pro Loco. The election took place during the regional assembly on Sunday 19 May, which was held in the unusual but evocative setting of Art Bike & Run + Wine, the village of the Costa dei Trabocchi underway in Fossacesia Marina (Ch), near the former railway station. Approximately 150 members from all over the region were present, representing the 260 UNPLI Pro Locos operating in Abruzzo, demonstrating the cohesion of the network. Di Addezio, 59 years old from Sant’Omero (TE), the center of the Teramo area where he also leads the local Pro Loco, has been president of the regional committee since 2017. Since 2020 he has also been a member of the national council: «The sense of responsibility requires me to remain together those who, like me, have believed and continue to believe in our work, that sense of responsibility that requires me to continue to manage UNPLI Abruzzo in harmony with the provincial presidents, the council and the council, that sense of responsibility that it makes me be close to the Pro Loco to build together with them a community of motivated, trained and above all full of great passion and love for their territory”.

In his end-of-term speech, Di Addezio highlighted the objectives achieved and the challenges for the future: “the stabilization of the regional secretariat and the investment in a network of collaborators who make up the regional staff, the creation of a group of UNPLI Abruzzo volunteers for Civil Protection, the attention and growth of the Universal Civil Service, which allows us to equip our offices with dozens of volunteers every year, the centrality of development and planning activities, strengthening of internal and external communication and relations with the institutions, associative and entrepreneurial world, SIAE, the relaunch of the magazine Transumanze, to which the late Gabriele Di Francesco gave so much: for this reason we do not want to waste his precious contribution”.

In addition to the president, the newly installed regional council is made up of Giuseppe D’Attilio, Gianni Di Prinzio, Nicola Piccirilli, Marco Valentini, Federica Censori, Mario Di Donato, Enzo Evangelista, Giuseppe Mastrodascio, Francesca Nunziante, Edoardo Faieta, Serena Pompeo, Danilo Bonanni, Davide Cetrone, Paolo Di Cristofano, Andrea Di Pangrazio , Antonio Palmerio. Among these, the following were elected as members of the council: Sergio Carafawho will assume the role of vice president and on the occasion was also elected as national councilor who will represent Abruzzo, Carmine Santarelli, Simona D’Annunzio, Alterico Patella, Andrea Di Pangrazio, Gianni Di Prinzio, Giuseppe Mastrodascio. For the college of arbitrators, elected Roberto Di Mizio, Remo Giovannetti And Giancarlo Ranieri and, to the position of member of the supervisory body, elected Pasqualino Riccioni.
