Aprilia Civica replies to the majority: “One month for a Commission is not acceptable”

The Comment of the majority of Princes on the opposition’s protest regarding the failure to comply with the regulation for the management of the Commissions once again reveals the political substance of this true “branchaleone army” at the helm of our city.

Talking about adolescent attitudes when it is pointed out that the democratic rules of politics are being trampled upon and disrespect is being given to half of the citizens of Aprilia is pure demagogy. We weren’t wrong when we talked about “amateurs in the lurch”, an attitude that unfortunately is repeated week after week.

Without going into the merits of the political issues, the majority representatives as usual indulge in the practice of insulting their political opponent. Insults that always come from the same now unmasked pulpit.

Waiting a month for the convening of a council commission, we repeat, is not acceptable. It is not acceptable for the opposition, it is not acceptable for the regulation and it is not acceptable for the citizens who are waiting to know the progress of the works of the Pnrr, a topic on which the majority proves unprepared. The nervousness revealed reveals an unpreparedness on the topic which represents the largest investment in public works in the city. For those who haven’t yet understood, this is a historic opportunity for the growth and development of our territory, rather than adolescent attitudes. “Their” resentment hides the embarrassment of those who fail to keep their electoral promises. We hope that at least what was planned in the past they will be able to complete.

Furthermore, they lie knowing they are lying because the Pnrr commission was requested by the opposition and because previously in the Public Works commission of 11 April last, councilor Moroni and commission president La Pegna made a commitment to convene the Pnrr update commission.

We recommend abandoning the politics of insult typical of those who have no arguments, we recommend reducing political catwalks and crowds to gain an extra presence in the ritual photographs and finally get to work. The city needs projects, serious initiatives and above all the city needs respect for the rules.
