Tomorrow the Carpi goes to Molise to face in Campobasso in the last round of the championship triangular group D Series. Campobasso (champion of group F) and Carpi (champion of group D) have already faced the Pianese (champion of group E), obtaining respectively a 1 – 0 victory in Tuscany and a 1 – 1 draw at Cabassi. The Molise team leads the standings with 3 points, and will have two results out of three to reach the semi-final, while Carpi must win to climb to first place. The first place in the three triangular tournaments and the best second place will qualify for the semi-finals (first leg on Sunday 26 May and second leg on Sunday 2 June). Mister Cristian Serpini today he spoke to the press at the end of the finishing: “Tomorrow if we win we will qualify for the poule semi-finals. Whatever happens, it would be a great satisfaction to continue our unbeaten streak (16 useful results in a row, 17 if we count the 3-2 against Pistoiese canceled by the Sports Judge, ed.). I will propose a mix of starters and second lines who did well on Wednesday against Pianese. It will be a fairly dynamic lineup. In midfield we have some ailments, for example Beretta, then fI will make some mandatory changes. Campobasso is a great, structured team that plays football and has important individuals. For Carpi it will be a good test in a Serie C climate. They will try to put us on the ropes and we will try to do the same because I don’t like to suffer the opponents’ play“. The team has already left for Molise in view of tomorrow’s match. The only ones unavailable are Rossi and Tentoni.
