He told it to Cosenza the outgoing MEP Denis Nesci during the presentation event of the three party candidates (in addition to Nesci, Luciana De Francesco and Ersilia Amatruda) in the elections of 8 and 9 June. The parliamentarians Fausto Orsomarso, Ernesto Rapani and Alfredo Antoniozzi spoke. Ersilia Amatruda spoke about her candidacy as an expression of a contribution from civil society.
Luciana De Francesco invited voters, “to recognize the importance of the work of the Meloni government which has restored prestige to Italy”. “We don’t want a Europe of bureaucrats – added De Francesco – but a continent of peoples”. “My family comes from MSI – continued De Francesco – and I started doing politics in Youth Action. Our roots are the essence of building a national identity that changes Europe.” Denis Nesci recalled “the battles at the European level against the ideological fury of the greens and the left and in defense of Gioia Tauro and Calabria“.
Closing the proceedings, the regional coordinator of the party, Wanda Ferrohe urged the Calabrians “to go and vote to reward our loyalty and our coherence. We are committed to giving a different hope to Italians and to recognizing the reasons of the South starting from its riches. We face a relativist left – concluded Ferro – who in recent years has governed Europe, forcing us into absurd directives and exalting a vision of life that excludes identity”.
