From 1pm today 18 May until midnight, there is a ‘yellow’ weather alert due to hydrogeological risk of thunderstorms.
In fact, isolated to scattered rainfall is underway, including downpours or thunderstorms, with cumulative quantities ranging from light to moderate in almost the entire province of Foggia.
Yesterday the meteorologist Lorenzo Badellino of 3bmeteo.com had underlined how starting from Saturday the clearings in the morning would give way to a certain variability from the afternoon on the northern areas of Puglia, with the formation of some rain which from Foggiano would pushed by evening up to the province of Bari. Nothing done in the rest of the Apulian territory, with sunny spells prevailing in the provinces of Brindisi and Lecce.

On Sunday the day will start sunny, but a cloudy front will arrive from the Tyrrhenian Sea which as the hours pass will lead to an increase in instability, with the passage of locally heavy rains and thunderstorms over the internal Apennine areas and a certain drop in temperatures.
However, it will be a rather rapid passage, so much so that large clearings will return in the evening, except for some residual rain showers on Salento. More stable conditions are expected from early next week, with temperatures rising slightly.
