With 1 euro on Saturday evening entry to the National Museums of Matera

After 8.00 pm and until 11.00 pm on Saturday 18 May it will be possible to visit the Domenico Ridola Archaeological Museum, Palazzo Lanfranchi and the former San Rocco hospital, with an entrance ticket of 1 euro, thanks to the opportunity offered by the European Night of Museums. It is worth it for the varied offer of works of art, finds from different eras and innovative proposals such as the one linked to the history of the Julian Whale which has conquered adults and children alike.

THE NATIONAL MUSEUMS OF MATERA ON THE OCCASION OF THE EUROPEAN NIGHT OF MUSEUMS 2024 WILL ALSO REMAIN OPEN IN THE EVENING HOURS.
On the occasion of the European Night of Museums 2024, the three locations of the National Museums of Matera will remain extraordinarily open on Saturday 18 May from 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm.

This exceptional initiative will allow visitors to immerse themselves in art and history in a suggestive atmosphere, typical of spring evenings and visitors will have the opportunity to explore the museum collections with a symbolic ticket of 1 euro.

The European Night of Museums is an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Culture, with the patronage of UNESCO, the Council of Europe and ICOM.
