LIVORNO – I Korea and Shanghai neighborhoods return to being protagonists with numerous initiatives implemented at the third edition of “Existential geometries“, a festival organized by the Nesi/Corea Association, with the contribution of the Municipality of Livorno and the collaboration of many local entities.
The appointment is scheduled for this afternoon, Friday 17and for tomorrow, Saturday 18 May. A celebration that aims to represent the daily work that is carried out in the area by the entities involved and that aims to offer the inhabitants of the two neighborhoods and the rest of the city in general opportunities for meeting, knowledge and exchange.
Many people who will collaborate in the realization of the event, in addition to the Nesi/Corea Association: Arci Livorno, Saltimbanco Circo ASD, LaSolidarietà, SVS, San Benedetto, Circolo LaAV Livorno, Lane Clown Libecciati VIP Livorno ODV, AEROC.
Among the events worth mentioning: today’s meeting, May 17, dedicated to “Livorno delle Nazioni: what was, what remains” edited by Giulio Talini, the theatrical monologue “Korea. A question of geometries” by and with Fabrizio Brandi and thetribute to Giorgio Gaber tonight by and with Emiliano Geppetti and Carlo Bosco; Sunday, however, the walk in the neighborhood animated by the popular vernacular actress Doranna Natali.
Friday 17 May in the Corea district
4.00pm-6.00pm Baden Powell Park, via Fratelli Gigli, entertainment with the clowns of the Libecciati VIP Association, reading aloud by the volunteers of Letture ad Alta Voce, drawing and comics workshops with the volunteers of AEROC and the Nesi Association/ Korea;
4.30pm Baden Powell Park update from the officials of the Municipality of Livorno on the ongoing redevelopment of the park and the planned actions;
5.45pm Nesi/Corea Association, via La Pira 11 “The Livorno of Nations: what it was, what remains”. Meeting as part of the historical cycle curated by Giulio Talini. Theme of the meeting: “Corporate cosmopolitanism. Cults, cultures, books”;
7.00 pm in the condominium garden in via Gobetti 40 “Corea. A question of geometries”, theatrical monologue by and with Fabrizio Brandi;
8.00 pm Associazione Nesi/Corea, via La Pira 11 Social dinner at €10.00 (to book write [email protected]);
9.00 pm “And to think that there was the thought”. Journey through thoughts and songs of Mr. G (Giorgio Gaber), by and with Emiliano Geppetti and Carlo Bosco.
Saturday 18 May in the Shanghai district
4.00 pm from Piazza Fratelli Bandiera walk in the neighborhood animated by the popular vernacular actress Doranna Natali;
4.00 pm Piazza Fratelli Bandiera entertainment for children with volunteers from the Effetto Linc associations and circus workshop organized by Saltimbanco Circo ASD;
5.00 pm Piazza Fratelli Bandiera popular tombolata;
6.30pm Piazza Fratelli Bandiera “I have a horse in my head”, freak show of music, dance, prose and cabaret. Stories of gambling addiction, by and with Effe Max and participation of Elena Peebes and Cinzia Franchi;
