Grosseto. The director of the territorial school office, Gabriele Marini, visited the “Manetti Porciatti” technological center of Grosseto to bring his greetings and congratulate the “Go For Broke” team, the new Italian champions of Robocup Junior Soccerwho will represent the blue colors at the world championships next July in Eindhoven.
Accompanied by the head teacher Claudio Simoni, the head of the local school office used words of praise for the students.
“I wanted to personally congratulate you – he said -, making up for my absence at the press conference, at which a representative of the Territorial Office was however present. You are a pride for the school and represent excellence. Precisely for this reason I am convinced that you will be able to honor the commitment to which you are called by achieving a prestigious result also at the next World Cup when, on Dutch soil, you will represent Italy”.
Dr. Marini then assured the students and teachers present that he will return to visit them to at least celebrate their entry into the top ten of the strongest teams in the world. The director stopped to talk to the Da professorsniele Dattino and Emanuele Formichella about the attention that will be used to improve the performance of the robots in the context of the world championship trip. Doctor Marini, always accompanied by the director, visited the cosmic ray telescope and some of the most innovative laboratories provided by the school created with Pnrr funds.
