The industrialists’ requests to the mayoral candidates of Cremona

The Industrial Association of the province of Cremona today released a document where it summarized a series of suggestions and requests addressed to the next mayor of Cremona. “We have always limited ourselves to observing from the outside,” he said Stefano Allegripresident of the Association, who recalled that the Association has no political colour, “but this is an important moment for our territory in which we can reflect what the vision of the future is and we thought we would make a contribution through this document that expresses our ideas and plans.”

“In the territories”, we read in the document, “that highly differentiated offer which is typical of our country and which constitutes a formidable factor of appeal on foreign markets is expressed and built. In a highly competitive and globalized context, each territorial system must be able to create a strong identity, developing productive activities, skills and talents that guarantee a source of structural competitive advantage that can be defended over time”.

In 2018 the Association promoted important work with “The European House Ambrosetti” to develop, at the end of an extensive discussion process, a document aimed at defining the vision for the Province. The vision indicates the path to be taken in the medium-long term and the future orientation of the territory in terms of strategic development directions, economic sectors and areas of focus.
The vision is therefore the summary representation of what a territory intends to become in a defined period.
