Young and old together: this is the turning point chosen by Turin for the next summer retreat, remember the Gazzetta dello Sport. The director of the technical area, Davide Vagnati, together with the director of the nursery, Ruggero Ludergnani, have indicated a new direction that is not only formal, but substantial to inaugurate a new model: the fact that the retreat will begin together and in the same place for the large and for young people it means total sharing of working methodologies, continuous dialogue between staff. And the Primavera will be increasingly understood as a natural reservoir for the first team.
In recent years, several champions appreciated in the first team have blossomed. In November 2022, for example, Gineitis who moved up from the Primavera made his appearance in the Spanish winter training camp in San Pedro del Pinatar. Since then the 2004 Lithuanian midfielder never moved from the first team until his explosion in Serie A. The previous summer, that of the double Austrian training camp between Bad Leonfelden and Waidring, Dellavalle had tasted work with the big boys. A year ago, precisely in Pinzolo, it was Savva’s turn, who also scored a good goal in the friendly match with FeralpiSalò.
Next summer will be that of a new leap in quality: young and old together. If his Hungary doesn’t make too much progress in the European Championship, the competition for which he is called up, the 2002 Hungarian attacking midfielder Horvath will arrive in Pinzolo, having cut his teeth in his home country on loan in recent years.
