The Sant’Eraclio District Tournament is back. Two days dedicated to football and fun are scheduled for this weekend in the Foligno area. Two events are scheduled, that of the “Tournament of the old glories of the districts” scheduled for May 18th at 3 pm, on the occasion of which there will be a “very fierce clash” between the four districts of Sant’Eraclio, those of Cassero, San Pietro, San Giovanni and Fontevecchia. For the following day, May 19th, the children’s tournament is scheduled, again at 3pm, which will involve all the kids from the Foligno area and the sports club.
“An initiative – as underlined by the president of the ASD Sant’Eraclio, Claudio Pugnali – which wants to continue to promote the concept of ‘building together’, understood as a common goal of being present in the territory together with the associations, especially with the commonality agricultural center of Sant’Eraclio, the parish and oratory ‘Don Mariano’, the Tre Cannelle association and that of Girasole, bringing our town to enrich itself with resources”.
As Monsignor Luigi Filippucci, parish priest of Sant’Eraclio, reiterates, it is important to “start from the roots to promote the future”, since the words “roots” and “future” also go together to outline the shared space of the territory, overcoming borders and barriers together .
