Taranto – Teleperformance Italy inaugurated its “Agorà”, a place dedicated to all employees and the Taranto community. This special event was of extraordinary importance, a moment of reflection on the nineties, on the mafia massacres and on the Italian mysteries of 1992-1993.
The protagonists of this story, the general of the Carabinieri and commander of the ROS, Mario Mori General of the Carabinieri, he was on the front line first in the fight against terrorism and then, as commander of the ROS, in the fight against the mafia. From 2001 to 2006 he was director of SISDE, the civil secret service of the Italian Republic.) and colonel Giuseppe De Donno (Formerly colonel of the Carabinieri and leading member of the ROS, on the front line in the fight against the mafia in the early nineties.
Trusted men of Falcone and Borsellino, they were responsible for some of the main investigative successes in the fight against the mafia in the early nineties, above all the capture of Totò Riina), they presented the book “The truth about the mafia-procurement dossier”co-written, published by PIEMME and published by Mondadori Books (first edition November 2023). Mori and De Donno worked together for years on the “Mafia-Procurement Dossier” and together they underwent a trial for the alleged “State-Mafia Negotiation”, from which they emerged fully acquitted after years of unfounded accusations and media assaults.
This event was unique and involved the Taranto community, allowing them to get to know the workplace of around two thousand women and men in the area up close. The conference room was opened thanks to the new spaces made available thanks to smart working, intended not only for Teleperformance Italia employees, but also for their families and all other citizens who want to participate in these events.
