In the early afternoon of May 15th the State Police implemented a precautionary measure against a minor. The facts date back to a few days ago, when the Agents, on the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Juvenile Court, carried out an order for a precautionary measure of community placement for two minors held responsible for the crimes of aggravated theft and receiving stolen goods in competition as well as possession for the purpose of dealing drugs in Barletta.
24 hours later, one of the two young people, violating the provisions imposed by the measure imposed on him, arbitrarily left the community without returning. Searches were immediately started across the entire regional territory and in particular in his hometown, which ended in the early hours of the 15th with the tracing of the minor by the State Police.
The proceeding Judicial Authority, made immediately aware of the incident, after having assessed the seriousness of the minor’s behavior, issued a more serious restrictive measure ordering that the minor be confined in a Penal Institution for Minors. Therefore, after the formalities, the minor was transferred to Bari prison where he will remain at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
