The regional councilor of Calabria Antonello Talerico joins Forza Italia and leaves the mixed group of the Legislative Assembly. The membership of Talarico, who had already been a member of Forza Italia in the past, was presented during an initiative held in Gizzeria in which the president of the Calabria Region, Roberto Occhiuto, national deputy secretary of the party, and the regional coordinator Francesco Cannizzaro, deputy group leader in the Chamber. “I return to the bedrock – said Talerico – from which my political experience began. I have never been part of extremism, neither left nor right. Talerico once ran for the Regional Council on the Forza Italia list and had already expressed sympathy towards our party in the past. which represents his natural home. Among the issues at the center of attention in the meeting with journalists is the position, from now on, of Talerico himself in the Municipality of Catanzaro, where the new Forzista regional councilor is allied with the centre-left mayor, Nicola Fiorita: “This topic – said Cannizzaro – is not on the agenda today, today the news that we must highlight with emphasis is the return of Talerico in an important way with us”.
