Grosseto, waiting for Slow Food Day with a 34-hand dinner at Nada Locanda Toscana

Discover the Maremma and Amiata through taste. That’s what the guests of the Tuscan inn Da Nada in Roccatederighi on the evening of Friday 17 May, on the occasion of the dinner event Waiting for Slow Food Day organized in collaboration with the Slow Food Monteregio convivium.

The protagonists of the food and wine itinerary will be the excellent products of 15 local companies, enhanced and reworked with absolute respect for the raw material from the dishes of the special menu of Laura Tamburelli, owner From Nada Locanda Toscanaand his brigade.

It is the first time that so many local realities will find themselves united not only in the same room, but on the same table, from where they will recreate the map of the notable agricultural, wine-growing and dairy heritage of the Grosseto province. An opportunity, also for the public who will participate in the dinner, and an initiative made possible by the intuition and commitment of Tamburelli, who has always been attentive to the research and selection of territorial, characteristic, high quality products, and by the work of protection and promotion to which the Slow Food Monteregio convivium has been dedicated for years.

“It is, in fact, a 34-handed dinner, if not more – says Laura Tamburelli smiling – Those of all the producers who will participate, those of Da Nada Locanda Toscana and, naturally, those of Slow Food Monteregio.

A celebration of flavor and excellence, words that I want to underline because in our Maremma there are many food and wine artisans who pursue, day after day, quality and who deserve to be recognized for their cultural, as well as economic, value. that they create. A philosophy that, since its origins, has also characterized Da Nada’s cuisine and which in 2024 earned us inclusion in the Slow Food guide of Osteria d’Italia.

Waiting for Slow Food Day it is a bit of the crowning achievement of this success, a collective success, which we hope will open the eyes and awaken the taste buds of those who do not yet know the great wealth that surrounds us.”

“A few hours before the official start of Slow Food Day, the Da Nada event will inaugurate in the best possible way the day dedicated to good, clean and fair food – declares Claudio Seghi, trustee of the Slow Food Monteregio convivium – A new opportunity to reduce the distances between producers and consumers and make them even more aware and able to choose.

Laura, whom I thank for her enthusiasm and hospitality on behalf of the entire team, was the secret ingredient of this recipe: her brilliant and creative spirit and her enthralling passion helped us organize an evening that truly brings the emphasis on the word quality and turns the spotlight on a large number of local companies for the first time.”
