Scott Eastwood, set in Salento (and there are those who swear they saw his father Clint)

Someone swore they could glimpse the legendary hat and poncho that made him famous, but in reality Clint Eastwood to Jerseys it never arrived. The suggestion arose from the presence in the city, in these hours, of his son Scott Eastwood, involved as an actor in the film “Stolen girl”, the filming of which is underway in various cities in Puglia, including Otranto, where the crew was busy until yesterday. Part of the filming involved the picturesque Bauxite lake, chosen in recent months for numerous advertising campaigns.

The film

The film, directed by James Kent, stars Kate Beckinsale, Scott Eastwood and James Cromwell and is a thriller written by Rebecca Pollock and Kas Graham, inspired by a true story. The overall budget of the work is around 25 million euros and most of the production will take place in Italy with significant repercussions on the territory, also in terms of employment.

Cast and crew in Maglie

In Maglie, the historic Palazzo Arabesco was chosen, in via Trento e Trieste, the ancient home of Commendatore Giuseppe Tamborino Frisari, who in 1929 commissioned the famous painter Antonio Montefusco to restore, furnish and decorate his palace. Here is the base from which the cast and crew left every day for filming.

Once the commitment in the town in the center of Salento is over, the troupe, made up of over 150 units, will move to Taranto tomorrow, then to Martina Franca and Bari to continue with the work.
