TERAMO. The new council, the stadium, the antenna plan and the theatre. These were the main themes of yesterday’s city council questions. The Northern League member intervened in the reshuffle Berardo Rabuffocalling the mayor to account Gianguido D’Alberto of the timing of any redistribution of delegations and replacement of Giovanni Cavallari (elected in the Region). The mayor clarified that he does not have a deadline and that he is evaluating possible new structures which «are a possibility, not an obligation. I will evaluate if, where and when to intervene and decide what, if any, is the best solution to carry on the work we are doing.”
The advisor Carlo Antonetti (Forza Italia) instead presented a question on the Bonolis stadium: «What is the situation before the arbitration? What path are you taking with the manager? You want to make an agreement with the manager that we, the city council, don’t know but which you will bring to us when it has to be voted on with the risk of it being rejected. It’s absurd,” he said. The sports councilor replied Alessandra Ferri and the mayor, underlining how arbitration and negotiation with Franco Iachini are different paths. Reaching an agreement with the manager, if approved by the city council, will stop the arbitration. D’Alberto reassured that “there is an agreement in principle and we are working to guarantee the public interest”, he said without going into detail on dates or deadlines.
The affair of the 5G antenna in Putignano, the installation of which was stopped by the Municipality after protests from residents and after having ascertained the absence of seismic authorisation, brought the Fratelli d’Italia councilor into consideration Luca Corona to request information on the antenna plan, management and controls of the systems. The councilor Valdo Di Bonaventura he explained that the plan dates back to 2013 and that work is underway on a new one. He will respond to other questions in written form.
Finally the theatre: the councillors Caterina Provvisiero And Maria Cristina Marroni they came back to ask what the alternative is for the city with the redevelopment work underway at the City Hall and the prose season that Riccitelli has to organize. The mayor and the councilor Antonio Filipponi they almost took for granted the Science Park as a buffer solution, with the transfer of the city council to the Province. Next week there will be a meeting with the technicians who are developing this option to understand its feasibility. (vm)
