Tomorrow, Thursday 16 May, Villa Torre Rossa in Bisceglie will host the conference “Code Pink and support for women victims of violence”.
The Pink Code is a path of access to the emergency room reserved for all victims of violence, in particular women, children and discriminated against people. The path works in synergy with bodies, institutions and with the territorial network of Anti-Violence Centres, in line with regional directives.
The seminar, whose scientific director is Dr Irene Riezzo – medical director of the UOSVD Medicina Legale ASL Bt – will open with institutional greetings from the director of the Department of Health of the Puglia Region Vito Montanaro and the General Director of the ASL Bt Tiziana Dimatteo.
After the presentation of the national framework and the Ipatia project, the emergency care path of women victims of violence active in the ASL Bt will be analyzed with the contribution of medical managers from the emergency and forensic medicine areas.
Immediately afterwards, the point of view of the anti-violence centers active in the area and of the shelters will be analysed. Following there will be a round table on the activities of the police forces and the Public Prosecutor’s Office with the participation of the Deputy Prefect of the BAT Province Sergio Mazziaof the Prosecutor of the Republic of Trani Renato Nittiof the Deputy Public Prosecutor of Trani Giovanni Lucio Variaof the Police Commissioner of the BAT Province Alfredo Fabbrociniof the provincial Commander of the Carabinieri Massimiliano Galasso and the Commander of the Local Police of Andria Francesco Capogna.
The afternoon session will be dedicated to the psychological health of women and minor victims of violence.
