Referendum questions for stable employment: collection of signatures in Avellino

Avellino

The organizational machine of the CGIL Avellino is in full swing, for the collection of signatures for the 4 referendum questions for stable employment. Information meetings and collection banquets.

Franco Fiordellisi, general secretary of Cgil Avellino this morning participated in the initiative of the Slc Cgil Campania and national in-depth analysis of the questions. Present were authoritative scholars in the field of labor law, Massimo Di Celmo, national legal consultant for Cgil, Umberto Gargiulo, professor of labor law at the Federico II university, Nicola Ricci, general secretary of Cgil Campania Naples and Riccardo Saccone, national secretary of Slc Cgil Nazionale.

“Work in Italy is too precarious and wages are too low. Three people die working every day. To achieve the maximum possible profit, contracts, subcontracts, fake cooperatives, outsourcing of activities have become normal organizational models of every private and public company.

The result of twenty years of wrong laws is a clear worsening of the living and working conditions of people who have to work to live. It’s time to rebel and change.

Work must be protected because it is a constitutional right. It must be safe because you have to live and not die from work. It must be dignified and therefore well paid. It must be stable because precariousness is a loss of freedom. This is why we ask you to sign so we can then cancel some of these wrong laws through the referendum. Let’s sign it!”
