Fundraising is making progress to provide Cardinal Massaia with a fluorescein angiograph, a fundamental instrument for the diagnosis and therapeutic management of a large number of retinal pathologies.
Over 2000 euros were collected and donated to the Astigiana Foundation for Territorial Health thanks to the event organized on Sunday 12 May by the Asti Golf Club and its club.
We started with the match which saw a large participation of registered players.

We continued with the convivial moment extended to family, friends and supporters of the Foundation.
“It was a pleasure for Golf Città di Asti to have had the opportunity to organize this day of sport, friendship and solidarity with a strong participation of players – declares the president Fabio Malfatto – I am happy with the result obtained and I am doubly happy for the contribution that we were able to donate together with our restaurant manager (the Vigliotta family) thanks to the post-race pizza party. The hope is that days like these can be repeated in the near future.”
From the President of the Foundation, Renato Goria, and the entire board, heartfelt thanks to the entire Team of the Asti Golf Club and its Club and to the companies that supported the event for the sensitivity and attention paid to the supporting projects of Cardinal Massaia, of the structures and health personnel of our ASL.
Cardinal Massaia currently does not have a Fluorangiograph and patients are forced to carry out the exam in facilities outside the province. The new method will therefore make an important contribution to the ophthalmology department.
