Cna Calabria: ‘Entrepreneurs worried about new changes to the 110% Superbonus’

Catanzaro – The president of Cna Calabria, Giovanni Cugliari, writes to parliamentarians regarding the concerns raised by several entrepreneurs due to the changes to the 110% Superbonus. In the letter, the Cna brings to attention “the great concern that has affected the Construction sector following the announcement of new changes to the 110% Superbonus with the amendment presented by the Government whose discussion is still ongoing. There are several elements that do not reassure our entrepreneurs and on which we would appreciate your interest and further investigation. In particular, the proposed modification of the amendment regarding the terms for spreading the credits which would be extended from 4/5 years to ten years and blocking any parliamentary amendment on the exemptions. A completely unexpected and particularly alarming element is the introduction of a measure that provides for a reduction of the deduction from 36% to 30% starting from 2028. This change raises fears that the Government intends normalize the rates of all bonuses (Home Bonus, Earthquake Bonus and Ecobonus) to 36% as early as January 2025, compared to the current higher rates. These are measures penalizing for businesses of the sector which are experiencing a difficult phase due to the economic situation. The words of the Minister in the Finance Committee seem to exclude that the 10-year obligation could be retroactive. It would be disruptive for businesses and citizens by trampling on an acquired right and it would be even more so for Calabria which is already making so much effort to establish itself and aim for development”.
