The soldiers of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Latina they seized over 100 liters of liquid which tested positive for cocaine. The operation was conducted by the financiers of the Company of Terracina, who found the liquid, contained in over 250 cans, hidden in a country house in the municipality of Pontinia.
As a result of the house search carried out, in addition to the canisters, the Fiamme Gialle also found material useful for packaging the narcotic such as funnels, scotch tape, insulating tape and cellophane sachets, as well as over 1000 liters of chemical solvent of the bio ethanol and hexane type, also highly flammable, useful for refining and extracting cocaine from the liquid state to the original solid state through a complex chemical process. This material was kept in the farmhouse, which could probably be used as a laboratory-refinery of the substance for subsequent marketing, which would have made huge profits. The person to whom the building is attributable was referred to the Judicial Authority for crimes relating to the possession of narcotic substances.
