The “Great International Regattas” village opens to the public on Friday in the old port of Sanremo, an opportunity for everyone
– IOR&RORC and VELA&SAPORI”, the event that will be held from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th May, organized thanks to the collaboration between the Riviere di Liguria Chamber of Commerce, the Nautical Section of Confindustria Imperia “Yacht Net”, Yacht Club Sanremo, Confcommercio Sanremo and FIPE province of Imperia, Confartigianato Imperia and LegaCoop Liguria.
At 11 am, the ribbon will be cut by the president of the Riviere di Liguria Chamber of Commerce, Enrico Lupi, in the presence of the various partners and institutional authorities of the area.
From Friday to Sunday, until 8pm, the village will be a showcase for the latest products dedicated to nautical and the best food and wine excellences of the area, with the possibility of tasting some marine delicacies on site thanks to the presence of the U’Titti, I Naughty and Marix.
The village will be the starting and finishing point of the two regattas organized over the three days, the “IOR&RORC Meeting”, with the boats that made the history of sailing from the beginning of the twentieth century to 1980, and “VELA&SAPORI” in which each crew will have to prepare traditional dishes during navigation which will then be evaluated by some renowned starred chefs.
In this regard, on Saturday 18 May, at 4pm, after tasting the dishes prepared by the “VELA&SAPORI” regattas, the chef judges will perform in a cooking show with a tasting offered to the participants.
