“This is the “welcoming committee” that outside Porta San Marco awaits every day the tourists who, by bus, arrive in this place to visit the historic center of the city (where they will find various other “welcoming committees”). It’s been 6 years since the Municipality of Siena established a specific Department of Decor and Environment in the face of a constantly worsening situation! We remind you that Siena Sostenibile tried to bring its own proposals, ideas and contributions with the motion presented in the city council on the topic of waste collection and decorum, a motion that a short-sighted, self-referential majority engaged exclusively in the “official defense” of the department competent (?) on the subject, he rejected! Ps thanks to the many environmentally sensitive and attentive citizens who send us photos like those published in this post every day.
