Second edition of Confindustria’s Education day in Ville Ponti 4 of 13

The second one Education Day in fact, it was held this morning, May 14th, at the Ville Ponti Congress Center in Varese: a great event organized by the industrial association to recognize all those young people who have distinguished themselves within the four projects that Confindustria Varese, together with its associated companies , carries out with schools to cultivate business culture in the new generations: the Eureka project (for elementary schools), the SME Day (for middle schools), the “Industry Generation” Project and competition Yourbusinessidea (for high schools).

«This intense day, which saw hundreds of students take to the stage of Ville Ponti, is the demonstration of how the diffusion of business culture among young people, even the youngest ones, is a priority for us – commented the President of Confindustria Varese, Roberto Grassi – Even in this school year which is about to end, we have managed to reach all the schools in the area. We involved the girls and boys, teaching them the art of ‘know-how’ through the construction of technological models. We have, together with the Varese companies, awarded scholarships to the most deserving high school students. We organized company visits, classroom lessons and internships. We opened ourselves to discussions with the teaching staff. With our Young Entrepreneurs Group we have supported some classes in the creation of various business projects which we can now consider transforming into real startups, to fuel the entrepreneurial ferment of the province. Many initiatives and projects, very different from each other, with a single common thread: that of continuing to invest in the training of the new generations, trying to make our industrial realities that have an extreme need to find new forms of dialogue with young people.”
