The first was held in recent days Emilia-Romagna Research Retreat, a two-day conference dedicated to healthcare research professionals in the region. The initiative was organized byClust-ER Association of Health and Wellbeing Industries and the Emilia-Romagna Region with the aim of networking the most relevant activities taking place within the regional institutes and laboratories and encouraging the birth of new ideas, as well as joining forces to address the main challenges of scientific research.
Researchers from all over the world Scientific Hospitalization and Care Institutes (IRCCS) regional, from University Hospitals and come on centers of the High Technology Network they presented the best scientific works, creating moments of discussion for the development of new projects.
The ASL IRCCS of Reggio Emilia contributed by proposing 18 oral reports and 5 posters on the main research topics carried out in Reggio Emilia, from research on cancer prevention and screening, to basic and translational research on biomarkers and innovative therapies, to clinical research in the oncology and immunology field, up to health research on diagnostic/therapeutic pathways, on artificial intelligence and the organization of health services.
They were also delivered prizes for young researchers who stood out for their scientific activity in 2023. For the USL-IRCCS Company of Reggio Emilia they were awarded Federica TorricelliHealth Researcher of the Translational Research Laboratory, Chiara MarvisiDoctor and PhD student of the Rheumatology Facility, e Francesco VenturelliMedical Director of the Epidemiology Structure.
