At his second regional he repeats last year’s bronze, an athlete who is continually growing both on a technical and character level.

Tough race for Melissa, she reaches the bronze at the end, more than deserved

On her official debut, she produced four good performances, almost taking home a bronze, very good.
11th class Marinotti Christian -58 kg
Esposito Lucas – 48 kg
Christian loses in the first round due to a referee’s decision 1-3 with flags after the match had ended 0-0, a decision that leaves us disappointed.
Lucas loses at first after taking the lead, unfortunately he is unable to maintain it, also on their debut.
Results that bring the Aprilian team to first place in the company rankings for men’s kumite (fighting) and second place in women’s kumite. Seven qualified athletes join the already qualified Elisa Cocozza (fifth place in the 2023 Italian rookie championship).
Technicians Carlo and Marco Tofani are satisfied with the result. In some ways an unexpected result given the numerous debuts, but certainly welcome and the result of the good work done in the two training locations in Aprilia: Tomari-te at Viale Italia and Sensazione Fitness at Via del pianoro.
Now head down to work to prepare for the only Italian karate debutant championship, which will take place in Ostia at the Olympic Karate headquarters on 1/2 June.
