On Friday 5 May the “Monsignor Zoccali” Higher Institute of Religious Sciences had the opportunity to meet some students of the “Leonardo da Vinci” Scientific High School in Reggio Calabria to present them the training offer.

In a well-attended meeting lasting about an hour, the Institute was presented as an academic reality, connected to the Pontifical Theological Faculty of Southern Italy, which confers the academic degree of Baccalaureate in Religious Sciences and Licentiate in Religious Sciences.

In particular emphasis was placed on its constitutive and essential purposethat is, the training of qualified operators in religious scienceswith particular attention to the aspect of evangelization, the inculturation of the faith, the teaching of the Catholic religion, the Christian animation of society, within the context of the mission of the Church, in a structure of studies that includes three directions: pedagogical – didactic, pastoral – ministerial and intercultural and interreligious dialogue in the Mediterranean area.
