The Dr. Catello Maresca has been under guard since 2008 and is not only the public prosecutor who captured Michele Zagaria, the red guard of the Casalesi clan, but he is also the magistrate who contributed to eradicating the clan from Italy by arresting more than 1000 mafiosi from the province of Caserta and Naples and chasing their capital up to Romania. For this Zagaria sentenced him to death.
Maresca is also a magistrate involved in social work and has decided to tell children about his experience in schools by writing books and publicizing the State’s victories in television series.
