MILENA. The municipal administration led by mayor Claudio Cipolla has decided to acquire the public lighting systems owned by Enel Sole present in the municipal area.
The public lighting system of the Municipality of Milena is made up of a total of 1,265 lighting fixtures, 1,046 of which are owned by the municipality (in concession to the company Esco Energia Ambiente) and 219 owned by the company Enel Sole. The agreement between Municipality and Enel Sole expired in June 2021 and can no longer be tacitly renewable.
And since the Municipalities have the obligation to proceed with the acquisition of the public lighting systems owned by the Enel Sole company, the municipal administration has confirmed its willingness to acquire the Public Lighting system currently owned by Enel Sole by activating the redemption procedure. This will make it possible to manage all the systems in a uniform manner (both those owned by the municipality and those owned by Enel Sole), improving energy efficiency and optimizing the management systems also through the redevelopment of the systems to achieve a reduction in consumption and have a more effective and less expensive public lighting service.
The economic value that was attributed for the sale of the public lighting systems owned by Enel Sole is 37,428.79 euros plus VAT at 10%.
